This is a corner site, 420m². After the earthquake in Christchurch the government has a special policy that allows two houses to be built on the site that was vacant before the earthquake.
So, we designed and built two affordable houses with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom a single garage on this land. Each house has two large bedrooms, a spacious and bright kitchen, a dining room, a living room to be connected. The cool colour of the walls and the marble bench top in the kitchen highlight the understated luxury of this house.
It is important to mention that these are two standalone houses, which occupy a not big area, but they have own private garden. Residents can sit on the terrace connected to the living room and enjoy the beautiful outdoor sunshine while drinking wine.
