Co-owned by two sisters for many years, this 1000m² lot is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Christchurch. It is surrounded by beautiful park views and shopping facilities. the Most importantly, almost all good public and private schools are in proximity. They have always dreamed of living in a house designed and built by themselves, and decided to realize this dream with our help. Although our clients have stable income, the budget is not unlimited.
Our recommendation for clients is to not build the most luxury house while still matching the standard of the neighborhood. We carefully assessed the style and standard of the surrounding houses and formed our design brief: Achieve a modernism style with efficient structure, the building form being simplistic yet creating powerful visual impact. The two houses we designed are similar in style but different in layout due to clients’ demands. Main consideration for the older sister is to have her own separate street facing office. The younger sister's core demand is the need to live with the older generation, achieved by the independent one-bedroom studio on the first floor accessible by wheelchair.
In short, we have designed these two sets of luxury family houses with beautiful appearance, strong sense architectural sense, perfect functions, and moderate cost. Our design of these two beautiful, architectural, functional, and cost-effective luxury family homes has achieved the maximum satisfaction of the client.
